Creative Combustion Begins
Ok, I've just finished Kunstler's The Long Emergency, I'm primed to see the new Al Gore film, An Inconvenient Truth, I just read an AP article that the first half of this year is the hottest since we've been recording temptures in 1895.
So, I'm starting this blog to explore what you and me and we are going to do creatively to replace combustion, fossil fuels, big oil, etc.
I now commute by bike and that is the most perfect form of transportation, returns one to the domain of childlike wonder, and doesn't require a drop of fuel. Meanwhile, I have to take my minivan on 100+ mile trips for soccer tournaments and so forth. Where will it all end? Where will we end? When will the new, post-petroleum, creative combustion world begin?
